Meet Your Therapist

As a Clinical Social Worker and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 10 years of clinical experience, Lisa provides compassionate, trauma-informed therapy tailored to both individuals and couples.

How I Work

I help people understand emotional patterns, relationship cycles, trauma responses and develop greater connection with themselves and others.

Many people feel unsure about seeking psychological services for themselves and it is common to have questions about what course of action makes the most sense for your particular situation.

In these cases, we find that connecting to discuss behaviors of concern and develop a specific road map for treatment, is particularly helpful.

Everyone struggles at one point or another, and it can be difficult to find someone you trust to care for your well-being. I take this responsibility seriously and am committed to developing a safe trusting relationship with you and helping you solve your problems as quickly as possible.

Stories of Growth, Healing & Professional Practice

I have found Lisa’s supervision extremely valuable in helping me develop confidence as a clinician. She provides a supportive space where I can talk through difficult cases, reflect on my own responses to the work, and think through clinical decisions. I have appreciated that Lisa gives practical guidance and shares her experience, while also encouraging me to develop my own judgement and way of working.

Lisa has also been a significant support as I have developed and grown my private practice. Supervision has given me a space to work through both clinical issues and the practical challenges that come with running a practice. Over the time I have worked with Lisa, I have become more confident in my clinical decision-making and in trusting my own professional judgement, and I feel her supervision has contributed significantly to my growth as a clinician.

Working with Lisa as my supervisor over the past four years has had a significant, positive impact on my own practice. Lisa has been of great support to me in my transition from a graduate to professional - facilitating my professional growth in several domains of my practice with her intelligence, grace and strength. Her integrative, flexible and compassionate approach in supervision has been extremely beneficial to me. Lisa confidently facilitates a variety of techniques and approaches based on the individual’s’ situation, which allows her the unique ability to work effectively with whatever arises. Her intuitive approach is both refreshing and assuring. Lisa has a way of helping me to adjust my perspective so that the possibilities that I had not previously considered are broadened when I work with her. I always leave supervision with Lisa feeling like I got what I needed and know how to proceed.
